Nexford University — Baby Ad Series.
AI-generated MoFu paid social campaign for Nexford University — humor as strategy, babies as talent.

The Challenge
(01)
A Warm Audience That Needed to Feel Something
Nexford University is an accredited online university offering career-relevant degrees starting at $400/month — no student loans required. The audience for this campaign already knew the brand. They just hadn't enrolled. More information wasn't going to move them. The brief called for a Middle of Funnel paid social campaign on Meta that would reach this warm audience and push them to act. The strategy was clear: humor as a Trojan horse. Make student loan debt the punchline. Make Nexford the obvious answer.

The Approach
(02)
AI-Generated Babies. Fully Committed Creative Worlds.
Every ad in the series features a baby or toddler in an absurd, over-the-top scenario that dramatizes the contrast between the financial burden of traditional higher education and the smart alternative Nexford offers. All AI-generated. All 9:16 for Meta Reels. Concept 1 — "Oh, Hell No." — opens on a newborn getting rapid-fire flashbacks of adult financial stress before looking directly into the camera and delivering one line in a deep Barry White voice: "Oh, hell no." He closes his eyes. Done. Concept 2 — "Never Met Her" — features a 2-year-old dressed like a miniature 90s R&B star, sitting in a leather armchair with a Sade poster on the wall. A debt collector calls about student loans. He picks up slowly and cuts them off cold: "Student debt? Never met her." Sets the phone down. Unbothered. The baby is always the smartest person in the room. That's the point.

The Result
(03)
Ads That Feel Like Content People Share
Both concepts were built to feel native to Instagram Reels — not polished corporate ads. The aesthetic ranges from bright and comedic to warm and cinematic depending on the concept, each tied back to Nexford's brand identity through end card treatments. By leading with humor and letting the product be the obvious answer, the campaign successfully bridges entertainment and enrollment — proving that a warm audience converts faster when they laugh first.
