The Challenge

Nexford needed social ads that could stop the scroll and communicate one thing instantly: education doesn't have to cost a fortune. Three problems stood in their way.


Generic ads weren't breaking through. In a crowded edtech space, polished but predictable creative was getting ignored. They needed concepts bold enough to make someone stop mid-scroll — not just another talking head or stock footage montage.


The value proposition was hard to make visceral. "Affordable education" is a claim every online university makes. Nexford needed creative that made the financial benefit feel real and immediate — not abstract.


They had no internal capacity for AI-powered creative. The team recognized that AI-generated content was dominating social feeds, but lacked the tools, talent, and creative direction to produce it at a quality level that matched their brand.

The Solution

Ten16 developed a two-part vertical ad series using AI-generated content to create disruptive visual hooks paired with clear, benefit-driven messaging.


Series 1 — "Baby Talks" (Upper Funnel) AI-generated footage of babies speaking candidly about the rising cost of education. The absurdity of infants discussing tuition and life expenses created an immediate pattern interrupt. The hook was impossible to scroll past. The message landed in seconds: there's a smarter, more affordable path.


Series 2 — "Rich from Saving" (Upper Funnel) A second set featuring babies again — this time showcasing the extreme upside of choosing Nexford. The concept: you saved so much money on education that you ended up rich. Playful, exaggerated, and instantly memorable.


Series 3 — "Nexa" (Mid Funnel) Nexa, Nexford's AI-powered brand character (a talking alpaca), delivered benefit-driven messaging backed by measurable data. The hook was the character itself — unexpected and ownable. The substance was real numbers and outcomes, designed to move prospects closer to conversion.
